Production Process
 
1. Syringe needle hub adding

Slide way is applied, the material is SS304, automatically material feeding, Autonics sensor to detect whether the needle hub is missing or not. Belt is used to transfer the materials to the slide way to mixing, and then feed them to the frock clamp.

2. The needle hub fixing

Put the needle hub to a fixed position in order not to affect the needle feeding,
and prevent falling off.


3. Needle adding

The needle is lifted to a height that can reach the mould of needle hub, and it will fall onto the needle hub automatically. After the needle fixed, it will turn the direction to the gluing station.

4. Gluing

Servo motor transmission is used in gluing, and two linear guides driver plate from Taiwan are used for gluing. Glue plate box (LEUZE, Germany) can detect whether there is glue in the box automatically, the equipment will stop automatically when there is no glue, and will display the alarm on the touch screen.

5. Drying tunnel

The drying tunnel will dry the glue. it is including drying oven 6-section heating, glass light tube stainless steel heating silk, two control boxes, current display meter, thermostat temperature controlling, to reach the fastness. The needles will enter into image inspection station after drying.

6. Block inspection

Block inspection is to detect whether the needle is blocked or not. Air blowing method is applied, and judge the needle is blocked or not by testing the needle is ventilated or not. 60 detectors test the needles one-to-one, and the air pressure meter is equipped, the machine will stop when the air pressure cannot reach the standard. The blocked needles will be rejected at the reject station.

7. CCD inspection

CCD is KEYENCE from Japan, it can detect burr and inverted needle, the products with defects will be rejected at the reject station.

8. Silicon oil coating

Silicon oil coating turns over in four sides, and rotates with 90 degrees. The rotation is driven by motor and interval separator, the blowing instruments is equipped when doing the oil coating. The silicon oil is coated from the bottom to the top, and the pressure meter is installed, the machine will stop when the pressure cannot reach the standard, pneumatic oil pumping is applied to avoid the fire caused by electricity. the products will get into the rejecting station after the oil coating.

9. Reject the unqualified products

The products with defects will be rejected after CCD inspection and block inspection. The rejection station is composed of 30 cylinders, solenoid valve and rejecting heads. It will reject the unqualified products in odd number and then reject the unqualified products in even number. Then , the products will enter into cap feeding station.

10. Cap adding inspection

KEYENCE optical fiber detection is applied to detect whether there are needles or not, and then give the signal to cap feeding. 

11. Cap adding

Slide way feeding is used, material is SS304, elevate hopper feed the caps to the material stock bin, AUTONICS sensor detect whether there is cap or not, and then transmits the caps to the slide way to mix. 60 cylinders in the front row of the caps are one-to-one, and being controlled by 60 solenoid valves, after inspecting by cap inspection, the caps will not be added if there's no needle, this can avoid the waste of caps, and ensure the quality rate of the cap adding.

12. Cap fixing

Under the cap fixing station, there is a cap righting station to ensure the caps have been put onto the needles in good order. After the cap fixed, the products will enter into products discharging station.

13. Products discharging

Before discharging, the products will be counted; corrective type is used in counting, fiber optic sensor is from KEYENCE, Japan. Alarm is installed in counting,(for example, if it is 20,000 pcs/bag, the alarm will indicate the material will run out soon, when 19,800 pcs have been packed),  and the machine will not stop when changing the bags, there is a seal baffle to improve the production efficiency.

14. Production capacity

When the needle is qualified without burrs and flashing:

one type is : About 68000 pieces per hour for 4# 5 # 6# 7 # 8# needles and the production capacity for the needles with bigger size is about 50000 pieces per hour;

another type is: About 60000 pieces per hour for 4# 5 # 6# 7 # 8# needles and the production capacity for the needles with bigger size is about 35000 pieces per hour.
 
15.  After the products discharged, the needle adding start again, the whole circulation completed.

16. Alarm device is installed, and it will alert when there is machine mistake, material block, not enough air pressure, and not enough silicon oil.

17. The whole line is 11meters X3.5meters(LXW),(TL-A50:10meters X3.3meters) , 2 workers are needed. It can run in good order, after commission for a week when the electricity and air is all in readiness.
